Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Maximizer Team ("Maximizer Team," "we," "us") is an independent freight savings advisor based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are not a freight broker or carrier. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit maximizerteam.com (the "site"), contact us or request a free freight review.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you request a free freight review, we collect your name, work email and company name. We also collect anything you send us by email.
• Business files you share. Clients may share freight invoices, rate files and shipment data with us under a separate written agreement. These are business records, but they may contain the names and contact details of your staff, carriers or customers.
• Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and the tools described under "Cookies and analytics" record technical data. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site that referred you and the date and time of your visit.

3. How our forms work

When you submit the free freight review form, the details you enter are sent to us by email. You are then taken to a follow-up form hosted by GoHighLevel (also known as LeadConnector), the customer relationship management service we use. Anything you enter on that form is collected by us through GoHighLevel and handled under this policy, as well as GoHighLevel's own privacy terms as our service provider.

4. How we use information

• To reply to you and provide the freight review or services you ask for.
• To analyze freight data you share, prepare recommendations and verify savings.
• To send you information about our services. You can opt out at any time.
• To run, secure and improve the site, including understanding how visitors use it.
• To meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5. Confidentiality of freight data

We treat the freight invoices, rate files and shipment data you share as confidential. We use them only to provide our services to you, and we will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement on request. Freight data shared during an engagement is governed by the written agreement between you and Maximizer Team. If that agreement conflicts with this policy, the agreement controls.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

• With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, security, analytics, form, email and CRM tools, and file storage. They may use it only to provide services to us.
• With carriers, 3PLs, warehouses or retailers only when you ask us to act for you, and only what is needed for that task.
• When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or others.
• As part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, subject to this policy.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google's tag, to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. You can learn more, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Security and performance. Our hosting provider uses Cloudflare to protect and speed up the site. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie to help tell people apart from automated bots.
• Website platform. The site is built on WordPress and Elementor. These tools may store small settings in your browser so that pages and forms work properly.
• Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with them.

We do not currently show a cookie banner. You can control cookies through your browser settings: you can block them, delete them or be warned before they are set. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly. Some browsers also let you send a Global Privacy Control signal.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires, for example for tax, accounting or contract reasons. After that, we delete it. Freight data shared under an engagement is kept, returned or deleted as set out in that agreement.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct personal information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

To make a request, email michael@maximizerteam.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Nevada residents. Nevada law lets consumers opt out of the sale of certain covered information. We do not sell covered information, but you can still send an opt-out request to the email above.

11. Children

The site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the date shown.
