Who we are
From the San Francisco Bay Area, now based in Las Vegas
Michael and William Holvoet founded Maximizer Team in 2017 to give shippers an independent advisor on their side of the freight bill. Maximizer Team started in the San Francisco Bay Area and is now based in Las Vegas. We work with shippers across the US.
Michael brings the freight experience. William brings the technology and data. Together they build the strategies that create the savings, and they stay involved until those savings show up on your paid invoices.
Michael Holvoet, co-founder
Michael has spent more than 20 years in logistics and has managed more than $1B in freight across dry van, reefer, LTL, parcel and intermodal. His experience runs deepest in CPG, food and beverage, and wine. He knows how carriers price lanes, where accessorial charges add up and what to ask for at the negotiating table. Michael on LinkedIn

William's background is in technology, data research and automation, including AI. At Maximizer Team he turns 12 months of freight invoices into a clear picture of where the money goes: organizing the data, benchmarking each lane and building the monthly reports that show what changed.
